Clikox began with a simple observation: most small retailers don't have reliable internet at the counter, but every cloud POS assumes they do. So we built the opposite — a Windows application where the local database is the source of truth, receipts print in a VAT-compliant hypermarket format, and the shop keeps selling even when the connection doesn't.
The engineering that matters is invisible at the counter: referential integrity when products are deleted, activity logs for every action, a tamper-resistant trial that survives clock rollback, and a licensing system with both cloud-validated and fully offline editions for different sales channels.
